Bidding Procedure PLEASE READ Latest Post -> Bidding General Procedure- (follow these steps when bidding on a nomination thread)
-Your first bid on a player must include the amount your bid is and the pick year and number you are giving up (ie 2018 1.11 - please add the year just for clarification, it still must be the current year pick ONLY no future picks allowed)
-Bid in increments of .25 million
-To win a auction, you must be the leading bid for 48 HOURS.
-Minimum bid for any given player starts at whatever they were tendered at. Once a player auction is WON (leading bid for 48 HOURS), the owner that won the auction must elect how many years (1-5 years) they choose to sign this player for in the thread for the player auction that they won.
Tagging Owner’s Procedure- (follow these steps as the tagging owner of an RFA)
-You may not bid on your own RFA
-Once an auction is complete on a player you tagged you will then decide to match or be compensated within 24 HOURS from when a bid is won.
-If the owner to the RFA rights does not say whether they will take the pick or match the bid within 24 hours then they will automatically take the pick and the player will go to the highest bidder.
Once RFA bidding is over tagging owners will need to decide on players that no bids were made on if they will sign them for either a 20% increase over the tender. If they do not want to sign them for that salary they may release them into the unrestricted free agency pool.
