Items to Vote on Latest Post -> 1. Franchise tag updates: all Franchise tags have a minimum value of 10m. Rationale: This prevents cheaper position groups like the TE from having “franchise-tag loophole” that lets them escape the 25% extension price.
A. Keep Franchise Tag as is B. Update Franchise tag so that anyone who gets a tag will auto bump to 10 Mill minimum if they are under it 7/12 YES votes will pass this proposal
The following are in preparation for a cancelled NFL season (See this thread for further details)
2. Contracts If the criteria for a full fantasy season is not met, how do you want contracts in our league to continue into 2021?
A. Continue into 2021 as any normal season into off-season transition would be. Progress with one less year on the contracts across the board. B. Continue into 2021 with the language from the above section 1b. All contracts will freeze across the board. No movement in any player's contract will progress. One time use compliance buy out for a single player for year of 2020 of said contract. 7/12 YES votes will pass this proposal
3. Future (2021) Rookie Draft If the criteria for a full fantasy season is not met, how do you want the 2021 Rookie draft to be conducted?
A. Conduct 2021 Rookie Draft on lottery based on seeding of 2019 reverse standings. IF we choose to go with 2021 rookie draft lottery reverse order of 2019 standings, the league will not allow roster moves until 2021 as to not disrupt league equilibrium (ie team with 1.01 makes a trades to get stronger and still gets awarded 2021 1.01) B. Conduct 2021 Rookie Draft on roster quantification value to determine the lottery. If we choose to go with roster quantification, however that will look, roster moves will remain open until the 2021 rookie draft since we will quantify rosters right before the 2021 rookie draft. 7/12 YES votes will pass this proposal
IF B (above in proposal 3.) passes and we conduct the 2021 draft on roster quantification, we will be transparent with how we implement roster quantification and possibly open a future vote on what we decide to go with/ask for suggestions if there is any varying opinions.
Thanks!
